Bill Mason has pursued the passion of fly-fishing for more than 43 years. He pioneered outfitting and guiding on the Henry's Fork of the Snake River. He also helped start the first "real" fly shop in Boise, Idaho. In 1972, Bill started a professional outfitting and guide service in the resort of Sun Valley. Bill has been a key factor in identifying the insect hatches of Idaho and inventing fly patterns to match them. He has written many articles and contributed to other works on fly-fishing. Bill now spends most of his time with his wife and two children, still finding time for golf and his passion for fly-fishing.
